A memory race of Alexandros Theofanidis, two distances 100 km and 50 km on Beach Psatha, Alpochori.

Route description:

The race will take place, on the route Psatha Alepochori of Megara (zero inclination) coastline of 10 km so go and return is a 20 km round. 5 times this round counts to 100 km and 2.5 times for the race of 50 km.

Refreshment stations:

There will be checkpoints and parallel supply point at 2.5 km at the fifth km, at 7.5 km and at the 10th km. The supply points will supply water, isotonic water, sweets, salty snacks, fruits, raisins, honey, salt, juice, soft drinks and anything possible to cover the athlete’s needs.

Eligibility and time limits:

Eligibility all women and men runners who have, at least once, reached the marathon finish line, the last 5 years, in less than 5 hours.

Finish time limits for the 50 km is 6 hours and for the 100 12:30 hours.

In the 100 km race, there will be for the first time, check point at 80 kilometers. The time limit will be 10 hours and 15 minutes.
Athletes will be permitted to continue the race only I case, they have concluded 80 kilometers, before 16:45.

Starting time:

Start from Pasha is set up at 06:30 am for both races (100 and 50 km respectively).

Bus transport:

A bus will transfer the athletes from Athens to Psatha (included in the participation cost). Departure time at 04:30 am in front of the Stanley Hotel in Karaiskaki Square [Metaxourghio Metro Station] (Athens). The award ceremony for 50 km will take place at 13:00 pm and for 100 km at 19:30 pm.
After the awarding ceremony of each race, a bus will depart from PSATHA to Athens.

Entry fees:

100 km: 30 €
50 km: 20 €
Bus transport included in the price.

Additional info:

Every one who will reach the finish line, will receive a commemorate medal and a certificate (diploma) of participation.
The first 6 men and 3 women in both races will be awarded with cups.
After the race, a free of charge farewell party will be held.
