How does it work?

  1. Search for events in the running event calendar
  2. Register and pay securely at MyNextRun-site.
  3. After paying your registration fee you have confirmed your place at the event. The event organizer is able to monitor registrations through MyNextRun in real time, but it is possible that they don’t add your name instantly to their own webpage / participant list.

 

MyNextRun in a nutshell

The idea of MyNextRun was born when a group of runners noticed, that there is no service where you could easily find new running events and register for them. Now MyNextRun has hundreds of running event partners in almost all European countries and MyNextRun running event calendar has over 10 000 events listed. FAQ

Q: I got my registration confirmation from MyNextRun, but my name does not appear in the participant list at the event’s own webpage. Am I registered for the event?

A: Yes. MyNextRun receives registrations to partner events through the MyNextRun registration system. Event organizers may have several different methods for event registration, and they do not update all the registrations to the participant list on their own webpage in real time. There is no reason to worry. If your name appears in the participant list at the event’s MyNextRun page, your payment has been successful, and your place in the race has been secured.
 

Q:Will I still receive a confirmation e-mail or info letter from the organizer before the event?

A: It depends on the organizer. Some organizers send the bib number or event instructions to participants beforehand. If you don’t receive anything, don’t worry - this means that it suffices that you take a printed copy of the MyNextRun registration confirmation and a valid ID with you to the event.
 

Q: I received a username and a password from MyNextRun after the registration. What can I do with them?

A: Upon registration, a user account was created for you. With the user information, you can login to your profile where you can view your registrations, print a registration confirmation or edit your participant information, if this has been enabled by the event organizer.
 

Q: How do I sign up multiple people / a group?

A: You can add several people before proceeding to payment. In this case the entry fees will become payable all together, and a possible group discount will be activated. After you have filled out the participant information of the first person, click “add participant”, after which you will be able to add the next etc. When you are finished adding participants, proceed to payment.
 

Q: Can I cancel or change my registration?

A: As a general rule, paid registrations cannot be cancelled in order to receive a refund. In case of illness, injury or similar, the participant should contact the organizers of the event directly. Each organizer has their own regulations about cancellations.
 

Q: Can I change my participant information?

A: If the event organizers has allowed it, you can edit your participant information or transfer your participation to another person in you own MyNextRun profile. You will get user details for your profile upon your first registration.
 

Q: I tried to edit my participant information in my MyNextRun profile, but I can still see the old information in the participant list. What went wrong?

A: Make sure that you have edited the participant information, and not the profile’s user details. The registrations are visible in the upper part of the page, and by clicking on the arrow next to the event name, you get to edit your participant information to that specific event.
 

Q: I would like to know more about the event schedule, location, sold products or other details. Can I get the answer from MyNextRun customer service?

A: We do our best to help you with all your questions, but as MyNextRun is not the event organizer, we do not necessarily have the information you need. MyNextRun is responsible for the registration process, but for questions related to the event day itself, the organizer can answer best.
