Garda Trentino Half Marathon

The Garda Trentino Half Marathon is said to be one of the "101 races to run before you die". A picturesque course along bodies of water in northern Italy with views to the mountains. An unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful areas in Europe.

Route descriptions:

The course will be very fast and flat along the Garda lake and the Sarca river. The course arrives after in Arco after 10 km, and continues for 10 km running along the banks of the river and overlooking the crystalline waters of the lake up to the finish line, located in the picturesque 3rd of November Square in the heart of Riva del Garda.

Venue facilities:

You can find showers, toilets and dressing rooms inside the Palafiere area. Parking places are available around the Palafiere area. Please arrive punctually at the start area. You can leave your sports bags provided with a label showing your start number inside the Palafiere.

Distribution of race numbers and timing chips:

Bibs can be picked up from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 and from 07:00 am to 09:00 am on Sunday, November 9th, 2014, at the Riva del Garda, Palafiere, Località La Baltera, Riva del Garda, which will also host an Expo area on the same days.

Starting groups:

Your start zone is marked by colours red/blue/yellow. The assignment to the grid is based on the race time you maintained with your registration. Late entries are assigned automatically to the last section.

The starting groups will be subdivided according to rankings:
1st group -red: Top athletes, and amateur/master athletes up to 1.24.59
2nd group -blue: Amateur/master athletes from 1.25.00 up to 1:44:59
3rd group -yellow: Amateur/master athletes from 1:45:00

Pacemakers:

Garda Trentino Half Marathon offers the chance to run at the same pace as experienced runners who, easily identifiable by a colored balloon that can be seen from afar, have the task of completing the 21.097 km within a pre-determined time.

Entry fees:

Until the 15th of August 2014: 25 €
16th of August to 11th of October 2014: 30 €
12th of October to 31st of October 2014: 35 €
Saturday 8th of November and race day 9th of November 2014: 45 €

+ 7,00 € for foreigners NOT members of Sport Clubs affiliated with the IAAF participating with Daily Italian Athletic Federation Membership (FIDAL Daily Card).
