Venicemarathon will celebrate its 30th edition this year. It is said to be one of the most fascinating marathons in the world; known for its unique and picturesque race course. It welcomes runners from all over the world. Come, do not miss this charming race, be a part of it!
The race course is flat and fast, AIMS certified. It follows a point-to-point route from Stra to Venice. The first half of the race follows the River Brenta, the beautiful riverside area where rich and noble Venetians built their vacation mansions in the 18th century. The race finishes in Riva Sette Martiri after passing through the picturesque center of Venice and the stunning St. Mark's Sq.
8 refreshment stations, at every 5 km (starting from the 20th km: fruit, biscuits and sports drink). 7 sponging stations at every 5 km starting from the 7.5 km mark.
Dressing rooms at the start and the finish line, toilets at the start, along the course and at the finish line. Showers at the PALAZZETTO DELLO SPORT close to the finish line. Timing stations: at the kms: 5/10/15/half marathon/25/30/35/40/finish line. Pre and post race transportation as well as personal clothes transportation from the start to the finish line.
Entry requirements: Participants must provide A.S.D. Venicemarathon Club with a copy of this health form filled out and signed by their own physician, in this case athletes have to be 23 on race day. If the event the health form is not provided after the registration process it must be handed at the bib number collection, otherwise the athlete won't be allowed to participate.
Athletes who don't have a FIDAL membership card can run the race and will be timed, but will not be allowed in the official classification of the race.
